What is insurance limit?

The FDIC's basic insurance limit is $250,000 per depositor.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Platte Valley Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transactions Account Guarantee Program.Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all non-interest bearing transaction accounts (defined as an account not accruing interest); interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts (IOLTAs); and NOW accounts earning rates no higher than .25% are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's General deposit insurance rules (listed above).
