MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of Platte Valley Bank is to give excellent service and provide quality products for our existing customers, while continuing to prospect for new customers in order to grow our market share in our communities. To create a positive work environment for our associates, while maintaining high quality earning assets and growth in earnings.
PAST.
Since the initial openings of our full service Platte Valley Banks (formerly Tri-County Banks), Torrington in 1935; Wheatland in 1975; Cheyenne in 2000, and most recently Platte Valley Bank-Casper on March 31, 2009, many changes have taken place.
On March 31, 2001... our Banks joined the Platte Valley Financial Service Companies, Inc., a/k/a Platte Valley Companies, an integrated financial and insurance organization, with locations in Wyoming and Nebraska; to include other subsidiaries in addition to our banks: (1) Platte Valley Bank-Torrington, Wheatland, and Casper, WY; (2) Tri-County Bank-Cheyenne on Vandehei and N. College Drive, WY; (3) Platte Valley Bank & Trust-NE.Main-Scottsbluff, Plaza, Centennial, Morrill, Minatare and Bridgeport; (4) Platte Valley Ag Credit Co., Scottsbluff, NE; (5) P V Mortgage Company, Scottsbluff, NE; (6) Platte Valley Investment Center, Scottsbluff, NE; and (7) J.G. Elliott Insurance Center, Scottsbluff, NE, McBrayer Insurance Centers in Torrington and Wheatland, WY; and C.H. Brown Co., LLC, a premier equipment financing company, located in Wheatland, WY in 2008. Platte Valley Companies has grown from a $50,000,000.00 total assets corporation in 1996 to $604,973,000.00 as of December 31, 2009.. New and great improvements have been made to serve the needs of our customers in Torrington, Wheatland, Cheyenne and now Casper.
On February 28, 2005... Platte Valley Bank-Wheatland built and moved into their new bank facility located at 200 16th Street. The building has 6500 square feet with plenty of parking, two drive-up lanes, a drive-up ATM, and also has a Community Room for Ambassador Club events and community meetings. This was a beautiful addition and investment in the Wheatland Community.
On September 25, 2007... our subsidiary, Tri-County Bank in Cheyenne, WY opened a second full service remodeled facility, which is a branch of the Tri-County Bank-Cheyenne on Vandehei. The new Bank is located at 3310 North College Drive in Cheyenne.
October 2008... Platte Valley Bank-Torrington began a major addition and remodel of the bank beginning the first week of October, which more than doubled the size of our existing bank. The resulting facility will provide more room and privacy for customers to do their banking business. Our addition also includes a large ground level community room for Ambassador Club events and availablity to the community for meetings and events.
On March 31, 2009... Platte Valley Companies acquired the Bank of Wyoming-Casper, which opened its doors on March 31st, 2009 as Platte Valley Bank-Casper.
April 12, 2009... Platte Valley Bank-Torrington had an Open House to celebrate the completion of its remodeling and expansion.
PRESENT.
As of 2010... the Directors, Officers and Associates at Platte Valley Banks ~Torrington, Wheatland and Casper, WY are proud to be serving our customers and communities for a total combined years of 121 years; with Torrington celebrating 75 years (1935), Wheatland 35 years (1975), Cheyenne 10 years (2000), and Casper 1 year (2009).
Our focus will always be on people, products, service, community, work ethics and professionalism. It is no accident that our associates work so hard at customer service. Our customer oriented companies will be successful only if we have to our jobs, each day, the dedication to providing the service you expect and more, and the initiative to attain the highest level of professionalism. We must not be satisfied with good service ~ it must be Absolutely... Positively... Outrageous Service and... to remain Safe and Sound.
FUTURE.
